The Big Bouquet is a modern flower farm and alpaca stud. Take the opportunity
to look behind the scenes and learn
first-hand about the growing of top quality gerberas and the breeding of alpacas. A guided tour of The Big Bouquet will introduce you to all the aspects involved in producing these stunning cut flowers. You will also be introduced to the
wonderful world of alpacas.
An educational display in the visitor center will lead you through the fascinating science of gerbera growth and propagation.
As all flowers are grown under the cover of a massive glasshouse you can enjoy the comfort of a minimum year round temperature of 18 degrees Celsius.
In the paddocks surrounding The Big Bouquet you will find a herd of friendly alpacas. From time to time animals will be for sale.
In our shop you'll find a large range of both men's and women's alpaca garments. We stock anything from socks, gloves, scarves and beanies through to jumpers, cardigans, wraps, ponchos, capes, coats and jackets. You will find traditional, rustic styles but also timeless classics. Our collection consists of imported and Australian made garments. For spinners and knitters we have raw fleeces and knitting yarns. Pattern books are also available. In the shop you will also find other alpaca products like throw rugs, slippers and cookie cutters, just to name a few. The coffeeshop is set amongst beautiful gardens and boasts great Yarra Valley views. The perfect spot for a delicious lunch, cappuccino or Devonshire tea.
